History - 25th Jubilee

Friday Night !

AND  WHAT  A  PARTY !

It all started as planned Friday 20th October 2006 got off to a flying start.  The buzz was great with old friends catching up with each other and those young ones making sure they were not left out at all.

First we had

Softball Black   vs    Wainui Soccer

Two teams turning back the clock to perform together just like they did in 1981. This match up was played like it was back then. Fours, Pairs, Reverse Pairs and Singles all ONE LEG of 501.

Both Teams got new shirts for the occasion. Gavin Casley had saddly passed away so his wife Pam was asked to captain Softball Black.

The games were getting louder and the liquid was flowing steadily and darty’s were everywhere.  Laughter between all was great to see.

Some even managed a drink between chalks ….. but not Kina - he couldn’t wait

Then we had One team that was all at least 25 when the Association started against a team that wasn’t even born. The format for this one is Pairs ONE LEG 701 and best of 3 singles 501.
